AmEx Agyness wins "model of the year" at the Brit Fashion Awards. Love her. Key creatives in the fashion world gathered to honour the industry's brightest stars this week at the annual British fashion Awards. And there was, of course, only one choice for model of the year – Agyness Deyn, who has been dubbed the new Kate Moss. The leggy blonde, who used to work in a chip shop, made her entrance in a black Giles number with trailing hemline.
Twenty-four-year-old Agyness, who is the face of Burberry, took to the stage to collect her award from designer Roland Mouret holding her mobile phone to her ear. "It's my mum on the phone," she told the crowd, which included Lily Allen and Kelly Osbourne.
