Golden Globes

I adore awards shows. All of them. Except the People's Choice Awards. I don't give a damn what the people think. Most of them like complete crap. Like the Pussycat Dolls. Or the Simpson sisters. Or the various crimes against humanity that have been inflicted upon us by the Carter (Nick, Aaron) family.

Best dressed females tonight- definitely my girls, Scarlett and Keira. Though the Queen looked smashing. And Michelle Williams and Anne Hathaway were as cute as buttons.

Males- The Clooney. Terrance Howard looked great. So did Jesse L. Martin. And Jonathan Rhys- Meyers. But for his gold outfit when he played Elvis. Duuuuuuurrrrrrrrrr. Hot Irishness.

Added note- I cannot see Michael Bolton- Nicolette "neighborhood skank from Desperate Housewives" Sheridan's date- without thinking of the following scene from "Office Space:"

(For those of you unlucky enough to not have enjoyed "Office Space" yet, there is a character named "Michael Bolton" in the movie. And why are you still reading this? Go. Watch. The. Funny).


Michael Bolton: Yeah, well at least your name isn't Michael Bolton.
Samir: You know there's nothing wrong with that name.
Michael Bolton: There was nothing wrong with it... until I was about 12 years old and that no-talent ass clown became famous and started winning Grammys

"No-talent ass clown" is definitely on my all-time favorite insults list.
