I have a sneaking suspicion

As someone who fancies themselves as a rock snobbish-type person, there are a lot of bands that I should like. But simply do not "get." Like Radiohead. Rush. Or Captain Beefheart.

I have a certain appreciation for them, respect them as musicians, but cannot be bothered with their music. Why would any sane person think, "Hey, what would a computer sound like?"

I like my music loud, profane and shagadelic. Jebus, is that even a word? No, it isn't. I don't give a damn what they said in "Austin Powers."

That being said, I truly enjoy several artists on the above list- Fiona, Arcade Fire, Kings of Leon and M.I.A. All of which exhibit some of the aforementioned qualities, while being cool as f*&^.
